Joined my local bike shop for a mountain bike ride at Bedford Reservation. The ride brought out a good mix of riders, some relative newbies to mountain biking (like yours truly) as well as some advanced riders. Despite the differences in skill, it was a chill ride with everybody doing their own pace and lots of meetups in between trail sections. Great welcoming group which is to be expected from such an awesome and welcoming bike shop.


This was the first time I had ridden the entire Bedford loop. About 11 miles and 800 feet of climbing. Definitely a trail for the mountain bike. Not very many rocks, but its very rooty. Not the most fun on a gravel bike. I know, I tried.Trail conditions were among some of the best Doug had ever seen. Truly epic conditions.
