I came back to the UK from Bavaria for a family emergency back in February, having been away for 11 years, and was gobsmacked at the changes in London, and in particular at London Bridge. I grew up with the railway literally at the end of my garden and, much like Tim, it has played an enormous role in my life. Watching his unbridled enthusiasm is infectious in the best way possible, and I'm looking forward to more of these videos.
  • These documentaries about our Railway heritage are excellent. Tim invokes a feeling of nostalgia and reverence into each episode. What a great series- I hope more people will get to see these videos.
  • Visited London last year in Dec. for a week, awesome city. There was a rail strike going on which frigged up getting around, normally I go to Gatwick by way of Tower Hill to Blackfriars but a guy on the DLR train gave me a tip, go to London Bridge station as there's a different union there not striking. That guy saved me a ton of aggravation. Checked out of hotel, tower hill to Monument, quick walk over to Bank, Northern line south 1 stop to LB station, up to the overground and otw to Gatwick, LB is a big station.
  • Wonderful series. I live in Australia but during a visit recently, had the pleasure of visiting Knaresborough. Beautiful place. Thank you
