OC animatic - Omensky & Velvetquince

Lore hint ;) Omensky wears one feather for each important cat in her life that she’s lost/who’s passed. Velvetquince was the first, and the feather seen in their last moments alive together represents her. Omen never stopped wearing it in her tail Also healers can have relationships in my lore, their love was acknowledged by the rest and there also aren’t any queerphobia present during any timespan of this entire story :}

Knowing that Omensky would have defended Crowsong only makes this more heartbreaking. From the brief glimpses this gave I definitely get the impression that Crowsong and Omensky were similar as young warriors. Disregarding the hardships Crowsong was put through. Not only will Omensky never get to see her granddaughter take so much after her, but she wasn't even aware of the abuse Crowkit was suffering while she was still alive. Had Omensky been well/aware enough to defend Crowkit, Weepingwind may not have passed either, since she would at least have someone defending her and her kit. I'm sure even one ally would have lessened her depression. I'm sure Omensky would have been extremely proud of how loving a mother Weepingwind was despite the harsh treatment from clanmates.

Dont make me cry aah ;0;; So to be said- if Velvet hadn't died, Crowsong would probably never exist, that hits right in the feels.

I love how Omen sky's facial features remain even when she gets old! (and how she look similar to Crowsong since she's her grandmother) Also this whole animatic is heart touching and beautiful✨

Omensky has such a unique design but still such a strong resemblance to Crowsong. I'm so impressed with all your characters!

I just read Velvet's story a few days ago, it's such a touching one and hit me personally. As someone who ignored her own well-being to help others and tried to always seem happy so they would feel better, I connected with Velvetquince.

This is so pretty and so heartbreaking all at the same time. The emotions where displayed amazingly and your work never ceases to amaze me. Your and inspiration to us all!

0:50 THIS. I don't know what is it about this frame but I love it! The way her fur is up in the air makes it seem like she was running to VelvetQuince, and I imagine that was the first thing she did when she got back home. Or I could be reading into this masterpiece way too much and there was just a dramatic breeze but STILL! The story telling in this is amazing!

I’m pretty sure people have pointed this out but it seems even before Crowsong’s birth, cats from Corvidclan even from Omensky’s warrior days are dying left and right. I saw a comment on your Warbringers PMV (another amazing and beautiful videos btw, love your work keep it up❤️) theorising that Crow’s brith could be a test from past Corvidclan members to bring more diversity into the clan. So if that is true, then maybe the sick cats in this video are the first test given by the ancestors to make the clan realise “hey maybe we shouldn’t push away or kill cats who aren’t dark/black pelted” but they kept failing these supposed test and cats kept on dying. Then Crowsong was born and we all know how that ended. Whatever it may be or why cats from Corvidclan keep dying, I’m really interested to learn more of their story like what happens to Crowsong during her time in the Dark Forest and other cats like Falconflight.

Crowsong looks so much like Omensky. I'm weeping. May Crowsong find her peace like her grandmother did (she's such a badass character tho).

I honestly have no words, I literally had to take a break after watching this lmao. Your works and characters are stunning as always but the story is incredibly breathtaking. I started the video and decided to pause it shortly after to check if you explained the story in the description so I could have an idea of what this would be about before watching it and just by reading the story I was already tearing up. I was legitimately hesitant and afraid to even finish the video at that point but I had to see how the story unfolded for myself and holy shit, as always it did not disappoint and it exceeded the expectations (which are already more than high when it comes to your works). I'm being serious when I say that I genuinely cried out of the raw emotion and actual pain this animatic transmits and makes you feel. I already said this in one of your previous works, if not I'll say it again, but this is where you see that what you do is full of passion and dedication and that this is real talent at its finest. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing works, I'm genuinely glad♡
