What I would do is that I would not switch characters if you havent used their vanish yet. So if I havent used Toppo's vanish I wouldnt switch to Jiren yet

Brother all you ned to do is dont waste hit green card like that You had almost charged up gauge and you used the green card You could just use strike and cancel it with side step , keep distance and wait on his blast card then Vanish back up and pop green easy kill You also paniced at some point and didnt wait for him to side step , you just went right away Pretty much all the reasons you lost vs the last character
