Hantengu was such a good villain for what he represented. How lots of demons have sad backstories and then Tanjiro will sympathize with them, but this guy is asking for sympathy and doesn't deserve it and that just makes Tanjiro so mad.... So good

Idk if anyone noticed, but Tanjiro's red eyes became brighter than normal. And the force of that final impact, He knew his sister was going to die and was out for blood. Dude just kept slashing through as his head was about to get crushed. These animators really did Tanjiro well as they showed us his unmatched determination and thirst for vengeance. This music conveys Tanjiro's emotions so perfectly. It's not grief, it's what lies beyond grief when he still has to fulfill his duty. His entire world came crashing down, but in the moment he still has to push on. He composes himself, and then unleashes, before finally crumbling. And by God does this track convey all of that to perfection

I love how sinister this soundtrack is. It encapsulates Tanjiro’s rage for Nezuko perfectly

What an epic arc… Even though it felt like ages between the release of each episode, the entire battle happened in the course of one night.

Ik know majority of people regard Swordsmith Village to not be as good as Entertainment District, but you cannot deny this finale episode was incredibly amazing, probably the best episode so far.

Tanjiro was beyond pissed at that moment. Demons aren't just the reason for his and others pain, but in that moment he thought he lost his last family member who he fought and struggled for the entire last 3 years. He was out for blood and you can see it in his eyes more than ever.

This episode is one of my favorites now ! Bro when Nezuko burnt I already knew everything because I read the manga but still was crushed when I saw her burning, I could feel the pain of Tanjiro seeing her sister sacrifice herself to finally kill this cockroach of a demon that never dies ! 🥺😭

As an older brother with TWO little sisters I can say that even though I knew there was no way they were gonna kill off Nezuko like that I still felt every bit of Tanjiro’s desperation, pain, and fear as he was forced to make an impossible decision, and they pushed me to BAWLING MY EYES OUT Even more so when Nezuko made the decision for him My one little sister is still pretty young and doesn’t understand concepts like “Greater good” yet But my other little sister, knowing the person she is, she’d do what Nezuko did Kick my ass into battle, even at the cost of her own life Because we were raised to be that way, raised to care about others, oftentimes more than ourselves
