There should be a night where he comes in, plays the jazz flute, and walks off stage without announcing anything

I love when he says " that comes from the heart " in a tone of voice like it's said with love and Conan should take it as a compliment. Brilliant.

That's what I love about Will Ferrell: he's so good at staying in character and keeping a straight face.
  • When he quickly pulls back the flute for that last note it always kills me.

I love how everyone's ignoring the fact that Ron has travelled 30+ years into the future

does anyone think that ron burgunday looks and sounds a lot like will ferrell

No one can rock a flute like my main man - Ron Burgundy.

Am i the only one who really liked Anchorman 2?
  • A bit ironic at 1:46 that Conan says “thanks for stopping by” as that was Veronica’s ‘new’ catchphrase from the first one….Perhaps it was an attempt to wind Ron up?
  • The sequal was just as good as the first one. When you see something for the first time, don't compare it to something youve seen a lot. In the beginning it will never be as good. Nostalgia is a strange thing. It's actually really funny.

Watching tonight's show I finally realized something... We are in a "golden age" right now with Conan, like the one that people like to remember fondly with Johnny Carson's Tonight Show and his wonderful guests and surprises and moments of spontaneity. We're getting all of that right now, and this is special, but may not realize just how special because it's hard to recognize without hindsight. Anyway, that's just my thought.

The bassist's face reaction behind Ron is priceless!!

“You look like someone put a bright red fright wig on a skeleton. And chucked it out of a helicopter. I'm being kind right now.”
