A full playthrough of Sega Genesis version of 'Gain Ground'. It is a quite good and unique game that combines action and strategy elements. I could not complete this game perfectly and lost one character during fourth boss battle. Also I made some very stupid mistakes in the last round. Most likely, I will try to record another playthrough later: on harder diffuclty and without losing anyone.

Sorry for a bad sound quality - I recorded this playthrough using laptop with a not very good onboard audio.

I used to play this game when I was 5 or so with my grandfather. He was an expert despite his age. We probably were playing this for hours every week, but we could never finish it. And after a very long time, I found the name of the game and finally, I beat the final boss today. I'm proud of myself.

I kept thinking this game was a dream because I couldn't find it after some time, but I'm glad to have finally found it. Maybe I'll ask my grandparents if they still have the Genesis.

my brother and I would play the heck out of this when we were younger. never made it past the boss of Round 3 but that didn't stop us from trying.

That dwarf. I remember playing 2 player with my friend, we would always both run as fast as we could to be the person who got that first dwarf.

My brother bought a mini Sega that only played 6 games and only one controller. This was one of them, and I forgot the name and am just know finding it after about 12 years

This game, Subterrania, Granada, Contra Hard Corps, Gunstar Heroes, and Skeleton Krew were my favorite Genesis games growing up. And of course the Mortal Kombats and SFII.
