Camels are an amazing animal for a homestead. Unfortunately there are some big reasons why they are not practical for most homesteads...

I rode my first camel in Australia, when I was 15. You get a whole new perspective from a camel, when you're positioned up near the hump. They smell incredibly earthy, you can see everything up so high, and feel how gently those pads tread the ground. No jarring, nor bolting. Just the rhythmic camel swagger.

It was lovely to see more of the camels in today's video. I shall miss your daily show but understand, totally, why they can't continue every single day. I'm so pleased that camels have helped your situation.

I love camels! ❤️. We lived in Qatar for 3 years & met many camel herders in the dessert!! I’ve drank the milk, kissed a camel & also got bit on my arm by a bull camel while feeding....had to get stitches!! I STILL love camels!! 🐪

I would love to spin and make a hat for the chicken master. It might take a while since I work full-time and would have to do it during my free time. Tell him to take gaurd hairs out if she has them. Can't spin those. The gaurd hairs are usually straight and rough feeling compared to the soft fiber.

I would love a before camels milk and now of k and the baby. They both seem so healthy now where before they looked tired and overly skinny.

One of my family's favorite treats that they love for me to pick-up on my travels around the world...Camel Milk Chocolate! Whenever I go through Dubai Airport I always pick up a whole grocery bag in many flavors. I've spent 25 years in the Middle East and have an appreciation for all things camel. Good on ya!

We are saying 98 days won't be long, all the good videos are going to stop:( we will miss the daily format. Thanks for all your hard work!
  • I started watching you just before you got the camels. I have learned about mini Jersey cows from you and then others. I'm getting a bred heifer latter this month. The camel train has been fun and educational.
