as a guy who used sponges in real life, i can confirm it can absorb solid matter and entire earth
  • @TamTroll
the "sponge that replaces water with more sponge and then destroys itself" would unironically be a fun block to have in the base game NGL. Would make clearing out ocean monuments a lot easier. Might need some limits, such as only clearing a 3x3x3 area or something, but yea.

What about those sponges, the ones that suck up water, turn it into more sponges, then disappear, vs. your infinitely expanding water?
  • @squidink4887
As a former sponge, I can confirm that sponges are the most powerful beings in existence
  • @justit1074
honestly, the growing sponges that suck up the world could be fun as a survival challenge
  • @verditerthistle
the sponges moving at 5:40 reminds me of slime moulds, it’s really cool how your coding in minecraft can emulate nature!! ✨

as a sudoku player ,i want to mention that your music are the best for focusing in a sudoku game
  • @DarthZ01
should have done the 'sponges replace water with sponges and old ones disappear' except combined it with the sponges eat every block.

9:39 "And when you pour water on top of it it's like an infinite fight" you can't put water in the nether lmao (he prob changed code to make it able to)
  • @bearsie04
Man, this brings back memories of the bacteria mod from 1.7. Good times.
  • @skulkingshadow
The sponge turning water into sponge reminded me of the moss in "where is my water" lol
  • @khangtrantan9756
The fact the sponge progressively becoming from a literal world deleter to an cancer/Acid like block that dissolves water
  • @yehudaflame
0:52 I love that your computer explodes from google but could use shaders and other crazy stuff
  • @bertsiimon2879
that 15 mil earth sponge... WOW. gave so many building ideas
  • @SolarSeeker45
That sponge which spawns and deletes itself would be very useful for large scale teraforming projects. If you did the same thing with the lava sponges teraforming the nether would be way easier.
