The Worst Low Tier Ever Made

After you've seen enough Heritage for the Future videos, "good options for pressuring at long range, good normals" immediately followed by "unusable bottom tier trash" doesn't seem weird anymore

That feel when you'd be a good pick in any other fighting game but you're in the same roster as The Bird and Cherry MILF Hunter so you've got no chance

Whoa, this game has absolutely gorgeous sprites/animation. Particuarly Maria and Kakyon with all their dope poses

It's like the person designing Mariah didn't realize the roster had all these tools to deal with zoners, and limited her to keep her from being broken. She's balanced like she's fighting regular karatemen and not Stand users at their canonical level of OP-ness

yeah, lets just say there's a reason why in the comics she fought through obfuscation and element of suprise

Poor Mariah. If she was in a more standard fighting game, she could have been decent

She's so horrible and I always recommend everyone to never play her yet she's still the most fun I've had playing this game. Her biggest weaknesses come from the lack of safe confirms, everything taking such a long time that sometimes she's punishable even on hit after you cancel into a special. Very unfavorable trades, barely any good buttons, lackluster Guard Cancel and there being crazy enough people that are able to react to her overheads, it's always such an uphill struggle to win anything with her, but once you do it feels so unimaginably good. Put her kit into any other fighting game and she'd be a nightmare to go against, but instead Capcom put her into a game with literal gods that abuse the system so much she can hardly do anything. Also, you can cut down the cable with pretty much any Stand On normal (Khan is programmed to be able to cut it with any button), even from the ground. Only people who don't know the matchup will ever get punished for trying to cut it down and as special it's really the only thing that can give Mariah any advantage. Mariah and both Hols are the only characters without a Stand type attack so they're unable to interrupt it in any way. DIO and Devo may be the hardest characters to master execution wise, but she's definitely the hardest to win with.

Never played this game, nor ever had any interest. Now I will play this, and main Mariah, solely to spite you

as a Mariah main, I find her the most fun character I ever played on any fighting game, and am glad that now I have this video to explain my friends why she sucks, without having to write 10~20 lines of text and still not being understood

I love this character so much. Honestly the worst part is that she's also an effective zoner when your opponent doesn't know what they're doing, so you can't even just play her for fun to sandbag vs your friends trying to learn the game, because they'll stop having fun really quickly.

12:20 I think this is the first time I've ever heard anyone use Lawn Wake as background music, ever. I actually had to rewind the video and crank the volume up to make sure my ears weren't playing tricks on me. You have good taste in music.

I'm glad that Mariah got significantly more powerful in ASBR, she's my favorite part 3 assassin after Hol Horse. Maybe if I get into HFTF I'll try going against the odds and play her LMAO
