I hope your back feels better quickly. You are very good at being your own advocate. So awesome!

Hi Lisa. I can totally relate. I don't think it's the dementia. I'm 59 years old, I don't have dementia, but I feel the same way. I have some physical limitations, (mostly my back), but sometimes I need work to be done around the house, and push myself too far. And pay for it the next day. I want to be able to do what I did 20 years ago. I have to learn not to push myself. I love watching you. Keep up the videos. A lot of people can learn from you.

I believe like you.. pushing through is just in your nature. Although you will have to get used to a new normal to keep from overdoing. It is hard to get used to. I know. Take care.

I have back problems as well but with watching your video I am having mixed feelings now. I think it is because of all the things we use to do but cannot do now. The things we like to do for our kids but cannot do. I wish you could do all the things that you want to and not have to feel the pain afterwards but as we get older(me anyway) our bodies do not do the things we use to do.I am glad you are okay from the fall and I hope you have a good weekend with the boys.

I can sooooo relate...as the saying goes the old grey mare ain't what she used to be...lol I can't do what I could do 10 years ago I have had some lower back issues here the last couple years. You dont realize all your back does until it says oh no your not...lol
  • @Flexmeister
sorry about your fall--I had the same back problems as you and the sciatica down the leg

I so know what you mean, your mind wants too, but your body won't let you. I wish I could do half the things I use too. Skating was the thing back in the day, I'd go now when not so many people is around cause the crowds would just make me nervous these days. I Wouldn't give up on doing that though, I'd just get your back and leg in order and go from there. Then you can strap on a go pro hehe *smile*. Loved the longer video, and i'd so would watch a 45min one, might have to pause and come back, but so would lol. You must be an Indy Fan, ain't hating but Titans is my team, and they're our rivals kinda.. still love ya though.😀😙❤

I wonder if he doesn’t want to touch the lower back because it’s more challenging And he doesn’t want to affect his stats for ‘success’. I hope you can get to the bottom of it (excuse the pun lol) and persuade him to focus on your back. X
