This song was my dads favorite song the past few months I never really focused on the lyrics. He passed away three days ago. I realize that he listened to this song all the time around me because I reminded him that he doesn’t have much time with me and this is practically his goodbye. he didn’t want me to cry when he was gone. He knew that he will be here with me after he was gone. there’s a disease in my family called telomerase disease and he had the rare kind wear it all his organs failed. I listen to this song now and I remember my dad. I cry but it’s a good cry. Edit: this is a few weeks later. Today was his funeral. I am glad I got to see so much family. Tomorrow we will have food. (11-14-21) It’s been a year guys…I’m doing better and I have found someone to help my mind, and tell stories of my father too. Thank you everyone for the comments and prayers. Finding that I’m not alone really does heal the heart. He’s still in my mind every day and I can some times feel like he is with me. I cry but it’s a good one. Again thank you all for reading my story.
