How Farms Work is a YouTube channel based in rural Potosi, Wisconsin. Our mission is to teach those who didn't grow up on a farm what the farming life is like. Our videos show the Kuster family working together raising cattle and GMO crops. We believe everyone who wants to know more about farming should be able to share the farming experience with us.

How Farms Work takes place on ~1,100 acres with around 75-200 cattle at any given time. Four John Deere tractors are currently used on the farm, which are a 4020, 4640, 7600, and 8235R.

Be sure to subscribe for new videos every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday at 11AM Central!

  • Doing it the long way huh. You're supposed to shovel and sweep with the auger as it moves!
  • Being a city boy and driving through the country at times, I've always wondered about those big steel bins. Thank-you for the digital tour and answering an enquiring mind. More appreciation for where our food comes from and how it gets to our tables.
  • It was really neat watching the sweep in action from the top of the bin. So nice of Travis to “volunteer” for the job. Usually big brothers make little brothers do all the “not so fun” jobs.
