Emptying Grain Bins

Doing it the long way huh. You're supposed to shovel and sweep with the auger as it moves!

Being a city boy and driving through the country at times, I've always wondered about those big steel bins. Thank-you for the digital tour and answering an enquiring mind. More appreciation for where our food comes from and how it gets to our tables.

It’s so satisfying watching the sweep going around the bin.

It was really neat watching the sweep in action from the top of the bin. So nice of Travis to “volunteer” for the job. Usually big brothers make little brothers do all the “not so fun” jobs.

Seeing how the bins are emptied and cleaned was interesting.🙂🙂

Ive been watching your channel for about 2 years now and wow has this channel grown.When i first came across your channel i of course had to go back to the very beginning and catch up. Being local to Wisconsin myself i love watching the all the farms in my area go through the different stages of field prep,planting,spraying and harvesting in the fall,Thank you to you,your family,and all farmer's across the world,Maybe on day i could afford a small plot of land where i could grow enough food to support me and my family.Thank you again and keep up the hard work.

Watching your channel, Travis's and onelonelyfarmers has got me started on YouTube. I may be small but we got to start somewhere. Love the video's keep up the good work on making these for us viewers.
