Are there any features that would make this a "must buy" for you? I would personally really like if the Epix 3 came with a cellular connection so I could leave my phone at home on long runs and still be available if I'm needed.
  • I’ve the Fenix 6 pro. I’m waiting for the epix gen 3. All previous models between the 6 and this upcoming weren’t good enough for my upgrade. For me more accurate gps and heart rate is the most important to buy a epix gen 3

I had the 945lte and absolutely loved the LTE feature! Can't wait for it to come back. I had the 6 dollar per month subscription and it was well worth it for what it offered

They sell TPU overlays for Epix. It would be cool if you could buy carbon linings with a bezel-like texture from Garmin Marq athlete carbon edition, or with a damask steel texture

My flashlight stop working on my Epix pro. I didn’t think the flashlight would go out. Thankfully, Garmin shipped me a new one.

Great vid. I asked them directly at the overland expo and they said it’s in the works but no date set in stone

I am practologist and a flashlight comes in very handy, but unfortunately we don’t use a watch at work. It would be great if Garmin started producing a bracelet similar to the Veritisens from Polar and it would be more comfortable to sleep in it at work.

Just upgraded from a 5+ to the 7 Pro and I can't think of anything that would get me to upgrade for the next 5 years. I bought an iPhone 13 mini a few years ago just to make it easier for me to run with a phone. Unfortunately, Apple no longer makes a small phone but I'm hoping they bring one out in a few years, if only for a year run so that those of us that prefer small and light phones have an option. I do think that Garmin should offer hook and loop bands similar to the ones made by Abenen. These have been my favorite bands latel as they are inexpensive so that you can get a variety of colors. They are also infinitely adjustable and really light.

Just subscribed. Keep me posted! I just gave up on my stupid fitbit. Loved it until google see decided to kill all the features i love. Anyways, as a night nurse ill totally use the flashlight on the epix (I was leaning towards the forerunner 965 until you said how easy the gorilla glass scratches and im rough.) Ill wait for the new August models to decide!

Wireless charging. This should be a no brainer at the $1000 price point.

Not upgrading soon, bought my Fenix 7 pro on December as an early Christmas gift. But maybe the Fenix 9? Or Tactix 9?

Ive just upgraded from a Fenix 6 Pro to an Epix Gen 2 (original but brand new) with the chestnut leather band for $849 Australia dollars ($565 USD) which I was pretty happy with considering the band alone sells for $249 in Australia. Loving the watch so far, would have liked the flash light but besides that I couldn’t justify $300+ more for that feature. I’d like to see a thinner body so it doesn’t catch on things as much and feels a bit more comfortable, or perhaps some sort of moulding or conforming to fit nicer on the wrist, Addition of a high end LTE model, SOS satellite or duress button so I can sell my InReach that I also just bought ha ha. Will be interesting to see what they come up with!
  • @Marsubleu
I'd love a Marq Ultra series, with solar charging and great battery life for ultra running

Hello. I also bought the white Epix Pro. But it was dirty out of the box, it looks like it was tried on and not wiped☝️. It was not pleasant and I returned it. Moreover, I think that it’s normal for buyers to try on their watches, but wipe them off afterwards before you put them awayThen I ordered the gray ones with DLC. They came with damaged DLC coverage and I returned them too✌️. In terms of design, size and quality of materials, I really like Polar Grit x2and also a vegan leather strap😍 (it’s strange that no one compares them with Marq gen2). I like Garmin Epix Pro in terms of functionality. In general, I freaked out😂🤪 and decided to wait for Epix 3.

    I want built-in beer opener 😂😂😂😂

Hardware wise I don’t what new we’ll see. New HR sensor maybe? They are always working on improving that. A microphone/speaker would be nice even if we don’t get LTE. Software upgrades could be a screen mirroring a al Apple/Coros, also a snap to roads for runs/rides like apple does in the background. With the Apple Maps integration allowing us to drop a pin could this mean more Garmin/Apple partnerships?
  • Being able to text from it. Love my Epix 2 Pro but would consider switching if they made that change.
