Ramjet requires so much fuel that it would likely only have a few minutes endurance once supersonic

Just looking at this aircraft i can see it has verry limited range because no room for fuel and adding external fuell pods affects performance which is the great drawback of all fighters intercepters sumewhat less because of their ptoximity to target deployment !😊

Wasn't the X-15 the fastest at Mach 6.6? It was so fast that the pilot had to back off because at that speed, holes were burned into the fuselage and wings! Damn, that's hot.
