Instead of using only soysauce on the meat and straight on the rice, which can be extremely salty, you should try this sauce mix. Its how most Chinese dishes get that nice glossy gravy, and it can be used in so many recipes. 1 tbsp oyster sauce 1 tsp light soy sauce 1 tsp dark soy sauce 1 tbsp water 1 tbsp shaoxing cooking wine 1 tsp sugar 1 tsp cornstarch 0.25 tsp white pepper

It helps to learn some recipes if you want to cook at home more. It will give you more diversity and prevent you from getting bored with your meals. I live in Montréal, which is considered the affordable big city in Canada, but the cost of living is certainly creeping up here too.

I live in Toronto and the cost of living is crazy here too. And my workplace didn't raise our wages last year when pretty much all of the province did so it's really really hard. Everything is very expensive so I basically work 6/7 days each week for barely $3k. I don't have time or money to do anything, I didn't even make friends in Toronto since I've arrived in September.

Feel your pain, man! Recently I've bought two new lamps and crashed one of them the same evening. Previously got table lamp and crashed it in first 5 minutes.

Well you certainly have a fantastic view from your apartment. I too have a brilliant view. I live by the coast in South West England, at the top of a hill which has views across the bay. I can see for over 50 miles. Yes, I get upset if I break something, but usually think "Oh well, it's not the end of the world".

I currently live in a small town house with my husband and two cats on the outskirts of Rennes, in Brittany, France. If you're not familiar with Rennes, this city is considered a cross between ancient Celtic culture and Latin or Welsh culture (see Asterix and Obelix comics). Today, the city is considered France's Silicon Valley, home to most of the country's fintech companies, etc. In parallel with this new reputation, the cost of living in Rennes is leading the way. In particular, after the post-covid event, renting apartments, houses or buying homes has become uncontrollable. The French are very frugal with money. We like to bring our lunch box to the office, so we can eat together at lunchtime in the office cafeteria with colleagues.

I’m in the Okanagan, I miss Vancouver so much, haven’t been to the coast in over a year.

I always have doubts about VAncouver beein a liveable city, the majority of the population cannot afford a house so they have to rent rent. High crimes in Vancouver with homeless, drugaddicts and Surrey being # 1 most dangerous city in Canada ,(statistics Canada most dangerous city ) Also , Vamcouver is not on the ocean but located on the Fraser River delta ( straight of Georgia ) . Victoria has the same issues of being very expensive and crimes ( gangs) . Vancouver is not known for a cultural city and not a night life city .

Honestly, the only thing helping me save money now is the fact that I'm working out again. So I can't eat out anymore🤣🤣🤣
