  • The fact you care this much makes you better than 99% of the drivers out there.
  • The fact that you owned up to it and told your audience says a lot about who you are as a person. Your a rock star. Be safe.
  • @chadbooth4371
I’ve been trucking for close to 25 years. It’s very easy for things like this to happen. All you can do is own your mistakes, learn from them, and move on. Sounds like that’s exactly what you’ve done here. The very best drivers I’ve ever known have screwed up a whole bunch of times, and learned from every one of them. Lord knows I’ve had some dooseys!
  • These things happen. They just ... happen. Your attitude and ownership of this incident is remarkable in and of itself these days, not to mention your bravery and sincerity. Onwards and upwards! 😊
  • You're absolutely right , there isn't a single one of us out here in the trucking industry that haven't messed up. Its not about mistakes we make , its how we handle them. You did right to own the mistake and make things right. Kudos to the guy for being reasonable and understanding. The world could learn something from both of you about being decent human beings. Thanks for representing our industry with integrity 👍
  • Dominic don’t beat yourself up over that. The most important thing is that you handled it as a professional business owner should. You didn’t run and hide you didn’t make up stupid stories and all this other stuff. Everybody else seems to do when that happens. Like the saying goes things happen and you fixed it and you’ll move on with life and your trucking career.👍👍👍
  • Anyone that truly never makes a mistake isn't doing anything. You handled the situation honestly like the proffesional you are. You are an amazing truck driver, business professional, wife, mother and just a genuinely great human being. You are a great example to others. Those little bumps along the way are how we all learn and do better. Thank you for being you and keep on truckin'!👍🙂
  • @sgod6617
You handled it like the professional you are and me being the trucking industry for 30 years. It's gonna happen you take care of it and move on and your videos are great keep them coming. 13:55
  • Thanks for sharing! I’m an excavating contractor and as careful as we try to be with heavy equipment and trucks, things happen and you feel like crap when it does and you feel like your the only one who has ever made a mistake. But when someone like you shares their experience it helps us all appreciate we are human and it’s ok to admit we made a mistake.
  • You’re only human I have a lot of respect for you ❤ keep up the great job
  • Dauminque, you are still a better truck driver than 90% of the ones I have to deal with everyday and I wouldnt trust any of them backing up a trailer
  • @leonardmsl68
You should not feel bad at all unfortunately its an accident and you really didn't do much damage to that truck if you ask me a tailgate. Keep driving be safe and have fun while you're doing it.
  • I've been driving 40 years and I have had my share of mishaps. I don't care what any one says they have had accident sometime in their career. Doesn't matter how many miles they driven
  • @emellina1
Don’t ever feel ashamed-even the most experienced driver has had their accidents. You’re an amazing person, a fantastic driver, an exceptional mom / wife. Minor set back, you will prevail! Hugs from NY.
  • Never feel ashamed to admit your mistakes, honesty and having morals is a gift these days :)
  • Class act!! Handled things with utmost professionalism. Those of us who are embarrassed when we make a mistake are the ones who actually care.
  • @Jacob-zd4gj
The fact that you hit something is not really a big deal it's how you react afterwards. You handled yourself very well, and clearly he is happy. Glad nobody got hurt.
  • No need to be embarrassed or ashamed for sure , it happens and you sure didn’t do it on purpose. Glad he wasn’t some jerk about it and you were able to fix it !! Keep doing what you love doing everything will be fine !!
