Well, she said she doesn't respect Russian and Belorussian players. We have to accept that. Now she needs to accept that the crowd does not respect her behavior.
-
π7:44 It was beautiful and moving when she realized that the booing wasn't meant for her, and when she received her well deserved praise by the audience
-
Very good Belarusian player. Great attitude.
-
Sabalenka won many hearts today!
-
Kostyuk showed her face! respect for the French audience
-
Yes, Kostyuk should have shook her hand. Out of respect! I love Sabalenka response, she thought the crowd was booing her, but realized they were cheering her.
-
The French crowd articulating how many of us feel.
-
These kind of people are calling out for peace and yet they are the one who seems don't want it. SMH hyprocite!
-
All other tennis players should stop shaking hands with US players, the amount of wars, deaths and destructions caused by all US presidents cannot be calculated, but no, all other players just ignore these facts, hypocritical double standards in action
-
It was beautiful how Kostyuk was whistled and booed
-
Sabalenka is class all-round and a great example for children on sportsmanship and life, Kostyuk well the less said the better. Respect to the French crowd for realising it despite desperate media attempts to show otherwise.
-
I find it ridiculous to be mad at sports athletes and kids of a country at war like they had any choice in the manner π do ppl even have brains any more
-
iβm in love with Sabalenka
-
Playing great tennis right now should go far in the tournament. Congrats Sabalenka
-
So happy that Sabalenka won this match. Exactly this match.
-
Iβm so glad Sabalenka won this match, and how the crowd showed what a lot o people think about Ukrainianβs behavior against Russian and Belarusian players. At the press conference Aryna showed so much empathy towards Marta while this one showed only disrespect How is she looking for support with that kind of attitude? β¦ Sabalenka all class. I wish her the best! Go tiger! ππ»ππ»

Respect to the French crowd. Ukraine may be at war with Russia and its allies but Sabalenka has opposed the war. Treat her like a human, not an enemy.
-
7:35 Sabalenka taking a few seconds to figure out what the booing is for.
-
What most childish people dont understand... is how brutally human and empathic Sabalenka is. The fact that she stood there, asking about the booing just shows the most amazing qualities a human can have. Stop being YOU, stop thinking about others INPUT... just Think about it, its heartwarming when it clicks.

Hats off to the French crowd. There are still a lot of sensible people.
