Fun storytime about this Just Dance video and song in particular!! This song is basically the theme song for all the boys of my old 6th grade class since they would go to the back of the classroom and sing this at the top of th eir lungs whiel the rest of us girls would be sitting down. To this day, whenever anyone from said 6th grade class hears this song we all think back to this exact video, dance, and moment in our lives. Although its safe to assume theres still plenty of embarrassment that comes with that nostalgia! And honestly, that whole memory just continues to remind how much this song slaps ngl.

my only memory of this is when this played in the gym, everybody sat down once this one played but all the popular girls in my grade (2nd) stood up to dance this and so i stood up as well because i wanted to be their friends so bad but as soon as i joined in they all sat down and i was the only one dancing in the whole gym so i was embarrassed and just sat down 😭

It’s been YEARS since I played this version of Just Dance (the first version of JD I ever played!) I’m now getting into Just Dance 2024 and REALLY needed a reminder of the old songs 😂 And I’m actually remembering some of the moves this is nostalgia at its finest 😭
