I’m glad to have explored one of the less travelled routes in Jammu & I’m sharing all of it with you! I hope you like it.

We reached Mahur Garh (also spelled Mahoregarh) Fort by car and started our trek from there. After a tedious climbing for 45 minutes the terrain got easier & we were blessed with shade and resting spots in between.

We were a group of about 7 (all tested negative for COVID before the journey) joined by the local goat herd. It was a relief to finally see the lake from a bird’s eye view.
