  • He's on a bus coming from Yugoslavia!? That comment was probably the reason his Oscar got lost somewhere in Yugoslavia ;) Manos Hadjidakis was a kind child, will never be forgotten <3 Thank you for uploading.

Oh, too bad Mr. Hadjidakis was not present to accept the Oscar. I love that movie!
  • Connie Francis sang it on The Oscars. She had a million seller LP titled Never On Sunday. It was not expected to win because it was a foreign song.
  • To the Writing Staff at the Oscars: Since Raoul J. Levy did not show up to accept the award, your caption should read "accepted by Jane Meadows".
  • @dobazajr
I love that Bob and the 2 presenters just make fun of the absentees. Back when good humour is accepted unlike now you'll be slapped in live tv.

And no profanity was said & it was a very humorous show. Those celebrities of long ago had class.

Those were the days people wearing dresses very polite and not sexy. Those were the days with beautiful songs and great sense of humour.
  • Too bad there is no youtube video of Connie Francis performing this song on The Oscars.
