Can you make another video with less movement so we can see the full effect of the 4k without the hindrance of the low frame rate? It looks gorgeous and I am super jealous right now

Adobe Premiere and After Effects have built in presets for the R3D cameras, therefore a preset for 4k, 4_5k, etc.

I wouldn't buy the hero 3 just for the 4k video, cause it is at 15fps... the awesomeness of the hero 3 are the big frame rates and all this stuff :)

I used the plugin called instant hd from red giant to fill the video quality into 4k! thank you

yeh sure but the hindrance of the 4k is that it takes several hours to render and upload even though it is a 10 seconds video :)

it depends, but mine had 5GB of weight and i spend 3 hours with a 50mb internet.

Does AE have a 4K preset? Or did you do it manually? And what container did you use? thanks.

4K video and HD looks the same if you have hd tv isnt it? to enjoy 4K need to have 4K tv.. im just thinking to buy hero 3 black with 4K but not sure if its good idea as I dont have 4K tv..

I downloaded the source video and it looks like 2k video that has been upscaled. It's not even as good as the best 2k. If you zoom in for 1x pixel size it looks like SD.
