Are you feeling worn out and want more pep in your step? Are you looking for a way to defy the ravages of time?

If so, optimizing the health of your mitochondria is a major key!

Your mitochondria are the powerhouse of your cells, performing specific functions in order the keep the cell and you alive. They are essentially responsible for the energy that powers every cell and every organ- your muscles, your heart, your liver, your gut, and most importantly, your brain.

However, when these mighty 'mitos' don't get enough juice, then you may experience an increase in fatigue, decreased blood sugar control, weight gain, premature ageing, migraines, increased cancer risk, and risk of many neurological diseases, including Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, and Multiple Sclerosis.

Taking care of mitochondrial function now means giving yourself the best chance at increasing healthy years later on down the road!

In this video, I’m going to share with you three easy-peasy things you can do to support the health of your mitochondria and put some spring back into your step.

    - Lower sugar and alcohol - vitamin C, E and A - small stressors such as exercise, intermittent fasting, sauna, massage, cold plunges - green tea
  • For elderly people with health challenges, splashing our faces with cold water is also beneficial.

15 to 20 mjnute cold water is too long. That makes you adapt to the cold which you don't want. 3 minutes, 50 degrees
  • I have never heard of anyone say to do Cryo baths for this length of time 15-20
  • When you say dairy can harm mitochondria, does research distinguish between grocery store milk and raw milk (in our case we have goats) that is free of added gums , hormones, and antibodies like commercial dairy contains? I always wonder if dairy gets a bad rap because of all the extra inflammatory agents added to commercial dairy contains. Our dairy doesn't produced any noticeable inflammatory Reactions in my body but when I've eaten cream or dairy from the store with added gums, I get a mucous response. Curious if any research would distinguish between clean dairy and grocery store dairy. Sort of like research that speaks of meat in an ill sense but doesn't distinguish between clean non hormone non antibiotic meat.
  • I’ve done the showers for a month but the weather is colder now and I can’t even think about it now 😱

Hi Sarah! How can any explain this: My mom had a very disciplined routine- Eating and sleeping on time. No indulgence of any kind (except movies!). she would compromise flavor for health while cooking. She took power naps and Cold baths. Totally home made food and no processed or eating out! She got diagnosed with Parkinsons when she barely turned 60! and died of lung cancer 15 years later much before her older siblings and my dad! They were both pure vegetarians. Our home never had a pain pill of any kind! She was a treasure house of Indian home remedies (incl turmeric and ginger etc which are now hailed globally).💔

About the cold showers… does going into a freezer for 15 minutes have the same results as cold showers? 😆 the freezer seems easier to me

The audio on this production could be much better! You don’t need background music, it’s just nonsense!
  • You have a lovely soft voice that makes it easy to listen to , but this music overpowers it , it fights for our attention , your contents great but the music combats the delivery
  • Organelles is code for bacteria, and they are harmed by antibiotics.....and you would think that the doctors would know this. They should also know that iodine works better than any of the antibiotics, without harming the mitochondria.
