This was an organic moment I just happened to catch on film while testing equipment. - I don't believe parrots should be domesticated. They are not bread to be pets. They are so intelligent that life as pet is mostly miserable, even if you are a perfect owner. And the sad truth is that a majority who buy this breed are not fit to be owners, and abandon them, as they can live up to as many years as the human lifespan. -I have Gallagher because he is rescue animal my sister saved. Even rescues are not an open invitation to acquiring a parrot. We constantly have to rebuild his trust with humans and work through aggressive behaviors learned from previous owners.   - He just so happened to imprint on me... it is a huge responsibility. Parrots are very monogamous, so I am his wife for life. He even gets mad if I forget our anniversary. -All jokes aside, the reality is that because some irresponsible doo-doo head decided to go to a pet store and buy a parrot for his own fun, Gallagher has had to face the costs.  He has had a tragic life of being caged to a point where he never even learned how to fly, He will never be able to live a full life nature built him for him. --All I can do at this point is honor the bond he chose to share with me, respect his boundaries, and try my best to make him happy. And music seems to be that way!   - While he tends to enjoy the "lime light", I do not want to exploit him any more than his past has. I will never force him into making videos like these as a gimmick. If you see him on this channel, it will be only because we are our happy, loving selves- just existing! The girl is how I wish I sounded when I sing, the parrot is how I actually sound.

The parrot doesn’t know the words but does know the tune, pretty amazing he is singing harmony in his own way.

The parrot was correcting her, saying the "fucking special" version over and over again, but he wasn't good positioned for the mic and he kept sounding like "faffa ffefa" in the final recording....

That bird is special, a creep, and a national monument and must be protected at all costs❤
