Hello to all new Plotagon users, or as we like to call our community: Plotagonists!
This video will guide you through how to create your first video!

Scene (icon "clapperboard"):
Whenever you want to choose a new scene, this is the button to use. After picking a scene you will be able to add character and where they should be in the scene.

Dialogue (icon "Speech balloon"):
Use this when you want your character to say something. We use text-to-speech for this, so spelling is important for it to pronounce things properly (but it’s not perfect, sometimes you want to misspell words to change the pronunciation). Or you can just record your own voice by pressing the microphone icon. Here is also where you choose the animation for your character by pressing the text (Neutral)

Text plate (icon "A"):
This will add text when you need it, for example intro or outro of your video.

Action (icon "hand"):
Use this when you want two characters to interact. Note that for them to be able to interact, you need to place the characters at two locations followed by parenthesis. For example: “Table (left)” and “Table (right)”. If you place them at say “Table (left)” and “Door”, you will get a warning saying that the characters are too far apart.

Sound effect (icon "explosion"):
Scroll to the bottom to get more sound effects.

Music (icon "note"): This is background music, you can choose to stop the music when you want by choosing this icon again and press “music stops”

I discovered Plotagon in April 2017,and posted my first video in May 2018,I remember clicking on the clapper icon and seeing nothing come up then I asked my friend (which introduced me to Plotagon) how to correctly use Plotagon,It's amazing how Plotagon has gotten so far!,I Also Remember,around October 2018 of last year,being angry and sad about the removal of the ability to post videos in the Plotagon app,I was scared because I would have lost my followers and friends,I am still angry to this day,But I understand that changes have to be made in order to make Plotagon grow!,I however,still thank Plotagon for giving me unforgettable memories,I love plots and KEEP GOING! ;)

Hi, i really need more characters into one scene and actions, like falling, sleeping, doing handstands, walking or running every where. Stuff like that. I would love if we could make our own clothes, hair, accessories, voices and shoes. And accessories. Like we could also make our own animation by making it and saving it so you can use it in your movies. I know this is alot but if you cant do anything just let me know and tell me why. If you dont understand anything i can explain it.

I really like how the script design looked for the app back in 2019, when it actually resembled that of a real movie script. I have no problem with the current design, but I much prefer the style of the script featured in this video over the new one, as it enhances the movie-making experience and feels like you're actually making a real movie. Perhaps maybe in a future update, you could add the ability to switch to this style of script anytime, while still keeping the current style an option? Just a suggestion.
