Cleanliness is also a sign of mental clarity and healthy minds.
  • Cleaning is also a very important part of discipline. Discipline is a very important part of surviving.

Several yrs ago I realized I was taking care of my car the same way I took care of my body. I didnt get the regular maintenance it needed and only took it to the shop when something drastic happened to it. I started taking care of my car, getting the oil changed, cleaning it, etc. I also began to eat healthier, took supplements when needed and exercised. My current car is in good shape and so is my body. I now take care of all of my things much better.
  • So true. The inner peace you feel after cleaning is how you should feel all the time. Plus I believe a clean house invites good luck and good energy. Just my opinion.

That’s exactly why I clean. I love being in clean and organized environment. I feel more fulfilled and happy after cleaning.
  • I clicked this link from “The cure for anxiety” video. I actually got a bit anxious while watching this video because my bed room is so disorganized and cluttered. It’s already 10:45 in the night and thinking about my messy room just created more stress. So, I decided to act. Instead of letting the anxiety built up, I started doing chores and put all the unwanted stuff into one huge bag. Cleared up the floor and closed my closet. There are no clothes on my floor and chair and 90% of the decluttering is complete within 30 minutes. So I was literally procrastinating on a work that would only take half an hour to complete. I’m positive I will sleep better knowing that I took a step to make my day better. If half an hour can make such a huge difference, think about how much better my life would would be if I simply implement the good things I learn. Thank you for this great video ❤️

3:12 no way, the psychological effects of cleaning/organizing your space is one of the most satisfying feelings you can have, especially if your are or have been stuck in a cortisol saturated adrenal fatigue exhaustion loop. It's the most effective stress relief I know of, even more effective than exercise...because it's literally taking back control of your situation with your own two hands, in a way you can see the immediate results of your efforts. Cleaning is a gateway drug.

I meditate while I clean , say some positive affirmations while cleaning, programing my subconscious , so every time I clean my subconscious will always connect my affirmations when I clean

I use cleaning as a form of mindfulness and meditation. Since I became a minimalist and I keep my space clean, organized and de-cluttered my mental health has improved tremendously and also the way I perceive possession. It teaches you to be more grateful and it helps you organize your thoughts as well. Your channel has to be my favorite channel on YouTube. Thanks for your work.

Every time I finish cleaning my kitchen, I think to myself "Clean kitchen; clean soul".

As an extension of this idea, I only own what I need and use, or in the case of art, admire on a regular basis. The rest I sold or gave away. I feel cleaned, free and stripped down.

when you clean house it fixes brain fog, and along the way you figure out stuff that's been bothering you. Cleaning is a gateway drug to motivational momentum, self improvement. Just like exercise, the hardest part is deciding to start!

Whenever my apartment is unclean af i start to feel anxious. I clean my apartment at last weekly because i can't stand a messy house.
  • I actually enjoy cleaning. You're right, it's a kind of meditation and also a way to unwind your thoughts and the experience of creating order out of chaos.

This is true, I recently decluttered my home and gave a lot of old items away and also organized what remains. Also I got help to get a deeper clean from a cleaning guy. And now to keep it clean I make my bed first thing in morning and I use the same 2 plates a fork and 2 spoons and a glass the whole week just wash them over and over. So I help myself keep it clean daily

The thing about meditation is: you become more and more you! 💪
