MF Doom the GOAT to a point where he had to create beef with his own characters since no rapper is near his level!
  • @jaymanas9921
Imagine walking down the street and seeing DOOM chasing megalon
  • @ErokLobotomist
It was a crazy time to be an Underground Hip Hop fan in the early 2000s, up until about 2006ish. DOOM was insane, dude opened a lot of musical doors for me.

DOOM chasing Megalon out of a concert and down the street is hilarious.
  • Grimm was a great dude (I produced multiple songs on his American Hunger album) he really did get screwed over by many people and things, and he really did feel Doom was part of it and there was money that was mishandled but not directly by Doom. Grimm had been screwed so much that he really just was watching his back, it was a prison mentally. I'm glad they did come back to good terms later, hip hop was better with them together

"you can't compare me to nobody" compares himself to MF Doom

Someone needs to make a biopic on Grimm, his story is pretty inspirational

Freddie Gibbs got that older style flow and delivery which isn't heard often anymore and fits in the category of your more traditional rappers.. but Doom was a storyteller whom didn't rely on a beat or melody... he just spoke to the mic and the beat followed. Can't compare the two honestly they aren't anything alike beside the oddball tracks they choose to rap over.
  • @Dankman9
I love Gibbs too but he's got nothing on DOOM.
  • @macewindu064
That last bit from the Red Bull interview put a big smile on my face. Damn, what a guy. Gone too soon. RIP DOOM
  • @MFDOOMSDAa
MF DOOM catalogue Madvillain definitely is the pinnacle of sample/producing. But Doomsday holds that special place as my favorite DOOM album of all time. The whole album on repeat all day. Rest easy Daniel Dumile and Subroc.
  • @deckdumile5385
“Yuck, is they rhymers or strippin' males Outta work jerks since they shut down Chippendales” No one could mess with DOOM RIP
  • @WeyounSix
Grimm and DOOM calling each other brothers makes their beefs make sense to me. Even if they’re not related, if they see themselves as brothers, you don’t always gotta be getting along with people you consider family. Brothers fight all the time.
  • Freddie: Don’t compare me to nobody. Freddie 3 seconds later: once again compares MF Doom to himself saying MF Doom can’t rap like him
  • My take on the dropping of the MF is that it stands for metal fingers and is only used for projects which he predominantly produced, which wasn't the case with Born Like This with its Dilla beats etc
  • @tylor6260
Love Freddie and I'm not here to compare the two but no one will ever WRITE better than DOOM did. Ever.
