  • What series would you like to see covered on What You Need to Know?
  • My friend and I got a bug with Far Cry 5 once, we were being Only You'd by Jacob, but a bear attacked one of us, forcing an animation that stopped the teleport. The Bear was gone, and the bliss fog encompassed the entire map, the radio was distorted too. We drove across the map experiencing a true horror show.
  • @Kage..
Watching this made me realize how bizarre the far cry games story line can be than I actually remembered

The ending in Far Cry 4 where you wait for Pagan Min really shows how the Golden Path deceives and manipulates Ajay into thinking he has a moral obligation to the people of Kyrat. I’ve been playing through the game a second time and It’s allowed me to pay closer attention to the choice of words in dialogue sequences. The most notable instance that I’ve found of this is before the first Power Struggle mission in the game, where a GP member implores you to break the tie between Sabal and Amita. Ajay replies “I’m just here to scatter my moms ashes” and the GP member expresses how “now you’ve seen the terrors of Pagan Min’s corruption, you have an obligation to help us bring an end to his rule.” Or something along that line. In my understanding, this is the first sign of Ajay being shepherded and manipulated by the golden path, who I’m sure know about what happened with Lakshmana considering Ajay’s father was their leader. In my opinion, Pagan Min is the best villain out of all the recent Far Cry games. He’s the slightly Psychopathic stepdad who never gets to see you but loves you all the same. Even when you’ve killed your way to him he offers you a seat and dinner, along with fulfilling your initial goal with your mothers ashes.
  • @justmiles8651
Fun fact: Pagan min is the real person. He was nineteenth king of kirat dynasty who ruled for 40 years in nepal
  • @filipgurin5958
The lighter that took Vaas’ bullet was actually placed there by Vaas when he tried to burn him and Liza, pretty cool if u think about it
  • @Subpar1O1
I really like the idea of waiting for Pagan Min to finish his phone call, because if it makes Min seem like a good guy. It almost seems like he's only the antagonist because you were impatient.
  • This brings back memories. Best boss fight ending was in Far Cry 5. Shooting John's plane down. He landed it safely jumped out started to run & got hit by a truck. Far Cry also taught me to not jump into water without looking first.

My favorite moment from the far cry series was when I was chasing John seed I blew up his plane he then dropped like a rock to which I immediately nose dived continuing to shoot at him then I crashed the plane directly into him full force then the cutscene played and I was like “ok that counts”

Far cry games: Get captured. Hallucinate. Take out enemies, frenemies & double crossers. Mount. Drink. Pass out. rinse & repeat Far cry 2: I don't feel I belong here (fc2 leaves the chat room)
  • @ComradeStrogg
Btw, fans found out that Jackal's textures in the game files are named "Jack Carver". So there's a possibility that the Jackal and Jack Carver from Far Cry 1 are one person.
  • @MeatCube
My first time playing FC5, I found that you could access DLC weapons right off the bat, including Lost on Mars. Lemme just say that there is nothing easier and more fun than using the laser weapons on normal guys in this game. Takes out everything with ease. I even got out of my plane in the John fight and killed him instantly with a god damn blaster pistol. 10/10.
  • Far cry 3 was my favourite the whole story line was amazing, I loved how you had to save your friends and family form this group and both of the endings were shocking, I remember playing it and cried a couple of times haha
  • @spizun
U missed the part in Far Cry 4 where after choosing Sabal/Amita to side with, you find out that they are both war criminals in their own sense and you have the option of killing them.
  • @Extrastagecomic
Far Cry in a nutshell: Get captured Get Drugged Go on a rampage. Yooo Gus will drug you with the dictator's chicken!!!
  • @arnimzola1139
I had no idea the yeti DLC ending was just a hallucination. That makes me feel much better about that DLC’s ending.
  • Far cry 5's Joseph Seed was my favorite villain of all time. Now that I bought far cry 6 the day it came out I wanna see how Giancarlo lives up to his role.
  • @bukitcengkeh1
"4 Years Later in 2014" far cry 3 being set in 2012 While Far cry 4 set in 2014 Nice
  • I wish in Far cry 4 instead of the game ending if you wait for Pagan Min you aid the royal army in defeating the golden path
  • Most video game series: "What about if our character got amnesia??" Far Cry: "What if our character got knocked out over and over again??"
