"Missionary sex has been around for hundreds of thousands of years probably and I think it's sweet when it's done well" 😂😂😂
  • @Killjoy.Z
"The shotgun with a B-actor's range." Such a talented writer.
  • @jordanreese2513
Random favorite little detail of mine. The pause screens show a day counter since the fall of the world and it goes up for each day/night cycle you go through. But a weird little detail I found I like is in flashbacks if you pause the day counter is at “0 days gone”

This is the kind of game where the environment itself motivates me to play it

The mods will be amazing. Nothing but hordes of Shreks, as far as the eye can see.
  • @ACGreviews
Honestly the most enjoyment I have had from the game and pretty close but sadly tech issues again. Patches for sure incoming. Microstuttering which you may see here. Tested on 3 machines with 3 drivers. FPS wise its...not always bad in fact many times it is good but it has some issues. That being said..man at times I really had a good time PLEASE SHARE! Mass Effect 1-2-3 patreon podcast up next then another review! www.patreon.com/AngryCentaurGaming

"Is the zombie genre dead? It's repeated ground for sure but missionary sex has been around for hundreds of thousands of years probably and I still think it's pretty sweet when it's done well." ...on some level I want that to be an argument for when someone believes a trope or genre is overused. This should be immortalized.

I really hope you guys enjoy this on PC. Maybe (just maybe) with enough love on PC and console we'll get a sequel.🤞
  • I like Deacon, he is not a "people's person" however its perfectly reasonable considering what he goes through in the game and the world around him.
  • @claystrohman
"the huge shotgun blasts that have B-actor levels of range but can clear out enemies up close" this type of analogy is why we love Karak

"... and a bevy of technical issues around every Bend" Don't worry, Jeremy. At least a few of us appreciated it. You clever dog, you!

Originally Days gone had story altering choices but they cut those aspects out which leaves the story of the game a little off as there are moments that feel best described as feeling a little "off".
  • @Petryfy
I actually think Deacon is a great character. His portrayal as someone who is maniacally going back and forth from "my wife is dead, no way she survived" to "she must still be alive, there's gotta be hope" and the way he doesn't want to get too attached to any of the communities seems pretty realistic, given the circumstances. And (not spoiling anything) because of those moments when he does drop his guard and gets a little bit comfortable with someone and does something good, at the end of the game the others support him as well when he ends up needing some assistance. Sure, he doesn't change too much throughout the game, but by the time you're finished with the story, it is clear his "lone wolf" mentality was wrong and he obviously gets straight up proven wrong. And that's a totally fine resolution. The story is just a slice of these characters' lives, and that's what ultimately led me to fall in love with the game!

I was turned off by some major game review sites when this first came out on ps4. Recently just started playing on ps5 and you know what despite its flaws it’s a solid game . It does suffer from the usual open world repetitive type missions that can feel like a chore if you do them back to back but nothing beats mowing down a horde of the infected. This game deserves a sequel with some improvements. I feel like settlements needing to be defended from hordes would be a cool mechanic and having to deal with the aftermath of a settlement you couldn’t save would be neat.
  • @deathdude42
This is a damn good game that never got given the fair shake it deserved by a lot of people, the slow start convinced tons of people the whole game was boring but after you get past those early parts it's fucking amazing to play. Deacon is a great character as well, i love his insane ramblings as he narrates everything he does because it makes sense for the guy to be at least a little crazy after two years of constant stress and freak attacks.

Hordes of players crying about the Days of exclusive games gone, but its great more People can enjoy this game.
  • @mister-pinkman
I always thought this game was underrated. It plays nice on ps5
  • @DonnieDorko477
Played through this game on PS5 and it was legitimately one of my favorite games of all time. Please give this game a chance. It might be the most under appreciated game I’ve ever played. It was extremely addictive and just such a joy to play. Incredible graphics and sound too. I’d do anything I could to encourage a sequel.
