The idea of a villain accepting their defeat, and becoming a frenimy and just kinda want a rematch occasionally (like how I think Gabriel in ultrakill is going to be in act 3) is great to me.

I always loved how in Spirit and Puss in Boot the Last wish (Death, not Jack Horner), the villains defeats are not the fact that the character is beaten or dies, they loose, recognized it, and show respect to the main character for it
