Our culture has a tendency to worship YouTubers, musicians, and even billionaires to an unhealthy extent. But are these people truly the gods we make them out to be? Join me in documenting one of the most talked about guys on the planet right now, Elon Musk.

Comparing Elon musk to lex luthor is actually kinda insulting because lex luthor actually invented some of the tech he used 😒
  • Blackmailing a company into describing you as the founder is a frighteningly legal way to rewrite history
  • @arthurdurham
Elon Musk is the best example of how it doesn't matter who does the thing, it just matters who is the loudest voice in the room.
  • @wiskasIO
The worst part is the fanboys, I lost a friend because he couldn't accept that the tunnel thing was a stupid idea, I yelled at me that I was dumb and that Elon was going to revolutionize transportation, I'm still waiting for an apology lol
  • @asterodon
As a general rule of thumb I choose not to put faith in people in places of extreme wealth, there's no real way to know how they made all of those millions or billions of dollars
  • @wdcain1
Reading Superman comics as a kid, I was always frustrated that people in Metropolis never figured out what a snake Lex Luthor was despite all the awful things he does. Now I find that tragically believable.

Who knew that the son of a guy who ran a blood diamond mine at the height of apartheid, would treat his own workers like disposable pawns???
  • @DarknetDude
He has a documented history of sketchy business practices, has a cult following of obedient fanboys, is very invested in meme culture in a seemingly very immature and desperate for the approval of others. He is the very definition of just because someone has influence in one area doesn't mean that they are deserving of respect.
  • @tobene
Small correction: Elon never graduated in physics. He apparently lied about that too
  • @kfr2745
Elon's brain chips scare me...if his Teslas explode then....
  • @ralsim5308
I feel so guilty with myself for praising this narcissistic oligarh for years. My bad.
  • Elon is the kid in school who happened to get in the group with the smart kids didn’t do much and still got credit for it.
  • As an astrophysics student, I hate how prevalent he is whenever I am having conversations about the future of space exploration. He always has to come up and it's always by someone who just has to talk about how great he is and how smart he is for making Space X as if he alone is responsible for all the feats made by the company, not just the name on the business. Beyond sick of hearing about him.
  • so I have a friend that used to work at a Tesla factory in Germany and Elon Musk came for a tour and brought his kids with him. his kids started playing on a machine that is best described as a giant metal stamping press - one that was infamous for maiming numerous workers - like climbing on and in it. my friend was straight up like 'hey, that machine will kill them instantly, you should tell them to get off it'. Elon looked at his assistant and said straight-faced 'well that's just survival of the fittest, evolution'. I've long been trying to figure out if it was him just thinking it was funny, or just the belief that nothing bad would happen to him, or if it was such an insane disconnect from reality that he actually believed it. either way he didn't say anything to his littles.
  • @UmbreonMessiah
WAIT. Are you telling me that Elon is so fucking vain that he renamed Twitter to the same thing as his failed pet banking project??? Holy fucking christ...
  • So basically if Elon hadn't been born rich, he would just be another redditor
  • @KageNoTenshi
Self made billionaire 101, step one: be born to a wealthy family
  • @spence6195
Elon Musk calling his father "evil" and "a terrible human being" is very ironic considering that he's WORSE
