I explore firsthand all the steps involved in the library materials circulation process, from when a book is returned to the library to when it's checked out by a patron. Including the sorting, shelving, and delivery process library staff use to manage library materials.
Have you ever wondered how a library book ends up on the shelf or how a library hold moves through the library system? Whether you're a regular library user or just curious about how public libraries work, this video will give you a fascinating look into the inner workings of a library.

I'm always amazed when I put a book on hold from another branch and it "magically" appears on my hold shelf a few days later. Libraries really are amazing.

While in high school, It was fun helping out in the library (many moons ago) here in Upstate New York. She was quite a character indeed, especially her HUGE hairdo
