Only 5 months old. 20 minute lesson. BRAVO
  • GSP`s are so easy to train even when older .. on my second GSP Now . My gsp`s never took food or items not supposed to take . can leave my BBQ or whatever food in the car open.. Love em
  • I started “leave it” with my puppy right when I got her at 7 weeks old (she inhaled her food). I’m excited to use this in a more advanced way now that she’s a little older to help with impulse control. Thank y’all for all your videos and the work you do!

This was very timely. I will put it use in this afternoon’s session with our lab pup!

This vid is worth its weight in gold. Needs way more views.

Hello, a new subscriber here from Hungary! I watched several dog trainer channels and your explanations are the closest for me. My chocolate brown lab puppy girl has been born just four days ago and I am preparing to welcome her by the end of November :) I mean "preparing" actively, by learning what to say while Lion King her ;) and learn her needs and ways to make her a well trained happy puppy. (Though I love all kind of animals and always wanted a pet she's my very first dog. Previously I inherited a cat with my house but he passed away at 15, fourteen years ago.)

  • Hello, I'm from Brazil I'm subscribed to the channel, you have a playlist of step by step how to teach my dog to point. What should you teach first in the correct order? I watch your videos and understand them by the subtitles and I learn a lot. Thanks in advance.
  • @MrLilog
    Just what I need!!! Thanks!
  • @kaliki76
Thank you for this! How young can you start it?
  • @patrickethier6190
Is there always going to be a reward even down the road when they get further along in training and they start to understand what you want them to do?
  • When you lowered the bowl, I reflexively pulled my arm up! Food bowl impulse control is one thing I’ve taught my digs well. My dogs always sit until I release them to eat. My arm has the reflex. I’m not as good at teaching ‘Leave it’ or ‘Drop’. Guess I need more practice and repetitions before I get the reflex response on these 😛 !
  • This is a question off topic but I was curious to what you think of feeding hunting dogs whole pray, like rabbit, chicken, duck and quail. And if quail is a option would it make it harder to hunt with a bird dog.

Thanks I was just wondering what I could do for personal space as my viper is always in our space or eating things off the ground. Hope this will help with. Both
