Sirui Mono-pod Review

I wonder if someone would help me try something on this monopod. I wrote the same on two other clips but they are already a year old so I try here as well. I already have a tripod (Genesis C5) and monopod (Velbon Sherpa Pro pod8). I am saving to buy both a steadycam (Genesis SteadyCam Pro Carbon (or Kovacam Monocam CF Pro+)) and one of the bigger Sirui P-___s. Perhaps I would be ok with just the Sirui, it depends............ 1. Can you check where the center of gravity is along the pod if balancing it in collapsed mode? 2. Can you do the same with your biggest camera attached (above a soft bed or something)? 3. Only help me with the next one if you feel it's risk free. Is there a way to part the pod in two near the center of gravity, hopefully at the top blue collar (where the handle above is designed to pan)? I understand that the first extending tube may be in the way going up above inside this collar when collapsed, but not sure.
