Within Temptation

I'm addicted to this show! I've watched it about 5 times now. It's the perfect rock concert! Great music. . .amazing lighting and staging, beautifully shot and edited, perfect sound. . . and totally over the top!! guitarist 100 feet in the air, full orchestra and choir flame throwers on the stage over the top!! God I wish I was there. . .

I'm 52 and have been performing live since I was 15. I've played in front of 20 people in early bar bands and in front of thousands as part of much more popular and successful groups...and everything in between. Music is and has been my very lifeblood. I've listened to and have been influenced by countless bands and artists and innumerable styles. Within Temptation is one of the very few bands that has stayed with me and taken up residence deep within my musical soul. Some influences have come and gone, enjoyed thoroughly in their time but eventually fading away as my tastes evolved. A few have stood the test of time and stayed with me as part of who I truly am; Rush, Yes, Led Zeppelin, Marillion, Triumph/Rik Emmett and a very few others. Within Temptation is firmly seated in that category. From their infectious albums to the spectacle of their live performances, they are damn near perfection. It's a shame that American "culture" is currently holding aloft "singers" and "artists" with the barest sliver of talent; favoring image and partaking in the unspoken contest of removing the most clothing. This is a damn-near perfect show, my single regret being the omission of my favorite WT song, "Shot in the Dark". Here's hoping for another twenty years of Within Temptation.

the end of "candles" with sharon singing over the growls was just....goosebumps for days.

With ages, Sharon's voice becomes more and more beautiful and powerful. Super!

So much energy and passion in her singing even in her 40's now. She is a true gift to the world.

Within Temptation is a rare phenomenon , combining so many musical forms into new forms , metal, orchestral, rock, masters of power ballads, Its no wonder they've been huge attraction,..everywhere they grace a stage,

The production and quality of this live performance is astounding. I swear Sharon's voice can bring me to involuntary tears of joy. lol

The Promise is the mos underrated music, in this version with the orcherstra, its faboulos, and the voice of Sharon, OH MY GOD...no more words just enjoy..

Para mí es uno de los mejores directos de éste género musical. Lo veo en la tele casi todos los días e imagino estar allí entre la multitud levantando mis brazos y convirtiéndonos en uno al cantar las canciones. Llevo unos días con una gripe fuerte, y estoy en casa encerrada y esta música me levanta de la tristeza. Muchísimas gracias desde España❤
