I like when Gaby is joining in on the trips. Her emotions are often hitting the right note and she brings in alot of fun.

Weatherspoons have cracked the code. They get it right. They can take a wreck of a building and turn it into a gem. The local themes they use are a delight to behold. Their senior staff at their headquarters are extremely professional, very courteous and also friendly to deal with.

We have stayed in eight different Wetherspoon's hotels and each one is individual and unique and they all seem to feature art work from local schoolchildren. We have always been very impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms and the service is second to none! We would recommend them as excellent value for money and as a drinker of real ales there is always a good choice available and at redicuiously cheap prices!
  • 2 or 3 years ago I did a really long hike and spontaneously decided to book into a Wetherspoons hotel instead of getting the bus home. For just £35 I was over the moon for a basic clean room... it was inside a Tudor building, looked like an attic room with a tiny little window, that you had to crouch on the floor in the corner of the room to see out of. After hiking nearly 20 miles I didn't care. Happy memories!!

Absolutely love weatherspoons ..a pub for the people

I don't think you can ever criticise Weatherspoons for the value for money they offer. The food may not be Michelin Star quality but I'm always amazed at how people moan about it considering how cheap the food actually is. I think the girl in the video was absolutely spot on when she mentioned a couple of times "for what it costs"
  • I stayed there in may , me and my 3 sons had a room each , was shocked by the standards , absolutely fantastic , we all had double rooms which were huge and spotless , massive bathrooms , one of my boys stays in a lot of hotels with his work , he said he's paid 4 times as much for rooms which don't match up to this weatherspoons(and he's a self confessed hotel snob) , I visit Yarmouth a lot and this is now my go to hotel ,wish I'd found it a few years ago

I never knew Wetherspoons even did rooms. This genuinely looks great, as someone in Norfolk i'd definitely think about a night or two here for a cheap weekend, food and drinks.
  • One thing about Wetherspoons is that they are all unique. McDonalds may be more profitable, but I like Wetherspoons model of pumping cash into big old landmarks in dying towns.
  • Gaby's comments about the pillows spot on! 'One not enough, two too much!' 🤣Pleasantly surprised by the nice standard of the hotel rooms! Thanks Tim!
  • We've had one in King's Lynn for over 20 years since they took over the old "globe hotel".
  • @Volvoman90
Definitely impressed by this. Exceptional location too, and not far to stagger back to bed after a few pints :D
  • I've stayed in a Wetherspoons hotel (The Hatchet Inn) in Newbury before a wedding. The hotel was fantastic and extremely quirky, with small staircases, rooms with massive wooden beams, rooms at the end of narrow corridors. Our room's were in a completely different building (it was like a small house) in the beer garden!

Awww what lovely comments.. I can’t believe I didn’t notice that drawing that kid done on the wall such a cute touch. I look forward to our next one xx

I stayed in the Dunfermline Wetherspoons hotel in Scotland a couple of years ago and I found the same experience. Incredible value, very clean, great rooms. Couldn't fault it and will definitely search them out if I'm ever on travels again.
  • Oh Tim, you're always commenting on dirty windows, so the fact that they're cleaning them is a plus! It was lovely to see Gabby with you. The price for that room was quite reasonable. Best wishes from Australia 🇦🇺 ❤

Never stayed in a Wetherspoons hotel. This one looks superb, impressed with it. Would certainly consider one of their hotels depending on where staying/availability. Happy Christmas to you all. xx
