A lot of people sustain spinal CSF leaks after head injuries and vertigo/dizziness is a very common symptom of the condition. Everyone with a head injury needs an assessment for a spinal CSF leak within two weeks of the accident.

Took a hit to the front of my head really hard. Seemed ok for about 2 1/2 weeks, now feeling slight tightness around front of head at times wanting to take advil. Also really tired and sleepy halfway through a routine day. Going to make an appt with a neurologist.

I bashed my head on a kitchen wall door around 18 months ago, and it will not heal. I have a hole in my head, and I cover it was sterile plasters, but when I peel them off, there is blood and a clear liquid on them. I have since developed balance issues, and have fallen three or four times, so now I walk with a stick. Should I be concerned? Is it a Brain Injury? I have had my Mother Pass Away, in the last 12 months, and I have had to move out into an Apartment, I have literally put my life on hold, and have not got around to getting the hole in my head seen to. Can you help me?
