Man 3 mayor injuries in 2 years... Father time is still undefeated

The thing with professional wrestling is that you typically "fake" or "act" injured to sell the move your opponent has just hit you with. Normally if a guy is DDT'ed, he'll lay seemingly unconscious or grab his head or face. The fact that he instantly reacted by grabbing his elbow when the move was used suggests he was in some real discomfort. That being said, i can also see WWE saying it is a full tear and will take months of recovery, only to have him come back before he should to make him seem tougher and get him more over with fans.

1:16 thank you for saying storyline ( I hate when people call it fake , I'll revert back to that in a bit ) I do love your videos on regular sports ( like you said you don't do a lot of wrestling content ) but the only logical reason I can think of for him being able to do those pushups is pure adrenaline , it's one hell of a drug . Ironic how he was facing Cody Rhodes in the final two who famously tore his pec right off the bone prior to a match with Rollins and although he was told it would be okay if he said no , he still insisted on going through with the intended main event match torn pec , major bruise and all . Triple H tore his quad off the bone in a tag match back in 2002 and still finished it ( even though there was 10 minutes left in it ) . It's SCRIPTED not fake , can't fake falling off 20 foot ladders or slamming through tables can only be taught how to do the bumps relatively safely .

Would love for you to do one on Seth’s knee injury a few weeks back if you’ve got the time.
  • @streetguru9350
Can you talk about the time Vince McMahon tore both quads simply walking into the ring?
  • @jacobmcmanus1244
You’ve done a great job with Cody Rhodes injury and now this one! Love your work!

This was heartbreaking to watch especially as a cm punk fan 😢
  • @patelkishan80
I didn’t think you’d do these for WWE, thanks doc!

Thank you doc for covering this injury to Punk. That video you showed of Punk doing the pushup. I had noticed it too so I'm skeptical of the extent of his triceps injury. I'm hopeful they are saying it is worse than it is for storyline purposes. Although that second video you showed indicates there might indeed be a torn triceps. We'll see.

Love the fact there's wrestling content. There's plenty of nasty injuries out there.. Dante Martin snapping his tibia in half was pretty crazy
  • @JamesLCrockett
More wrestling content please. Would love for you to look at some of the more famous “injuries” and show the differences between the legit injuries and storyline. Lots of potential content there.

Thanks for doing this video. Supposably it will take 3-4 months for him to rehab. It is heartbreaking he won’t be at Wrestlemania but I can’t wait for him to make a comeback.
