I remember finding montell last year in florida in a really ddark time of my life in the height of my addiction 5 minutes after being resuscitated from an overdose waiting for the ambulance to get to my apt and stumbled across "destroy myself just for you" and was devastated over how the lyrics connected to my life and i havent looked back at my addiction. On February 5th of last year i relapsed....to which i overdosed again and stumbled across that same song in the hospital when i woke up from a 2 hr comatose state....i proudly can say im 10months sober now and will be celebrating one year clean on February 6th of this year.....thank you Montell for helping to give me the strength to fight for my life!

The only love that is everlasting is Gods love. I had to learn that after getting heartbroken over and over and over and over again. It broke me so bad I had no choice but to look to God. In the end it’s what I needed I guess. Now I’m literally in Gods hot daily, and when I feel the world suffocating me I have to go back to the father and spend time with him so I can be full again. “Come thou fount”, “ if you drink of this water you will never thirst again”. The fountain is promised to us, to be inside us. God respects our silence but he never leaves us ever ever ever. I really hope and pray that you find his joy again.
