A soldier who's now home and finally rest his soul They all told her how he lived and how he died fighting for what he believed in .. they told her they were honored to fight along side him .. for even now he's watching over everyone

“He died the way he lived… bad decisions and a lot of dedication. Okay, the first part is arguable. He did save several lives. Could’ve saved more if he lived, but… he would never have walked away, would he? The fool… That damn, naive fool. He could have just ignored them, and lived to fight another day. He could have been smarter. Could have been more… more… I don’t know, but just, he could’ve lived. But… It would have made him less than he was. So here’s a toast to a fool at heart, and a better man than us. I’ll miss him.”

Pölarisia’s weary eyes scanned the battlefield for hope. There would never be any to find. She knew. But hope is a lingerer, one that stays long after it is sent away, it clings hard, and it falls hard. Friends lay scattered, blood flowed like the river that flowed through her homeland, the river that was the reason, the reason why so many of her friends lay dead; she couldn’t do this anymore, she couldn’t keep this charade up any longer…she couldn’t let them down…Her sword lay in pieces at her feet, a reminder that she would always be what they had told her she would always be. A failure. She arose and limped toward one of the few familiar faces alive. Elizabeth. Her mentor. Pölarisia asked Elizabeth with a question of hope in her eyes. Elizabeth simply returned one of sorrow and pity. Her heart shattered, into a million pieces that could never be put together again. Gone. Forever. She stifled a sob. “How…did he…die?” “No child. The question is how did he live.” She felt trapped, but she had been trapped before, but this time she was trapped alone…alone with the constant companion of guilt. The guilt of blood. The guilt of betrayal. The guilt of all guilt… a friend’s guilt. “Who am I?” She asked toward the heavens. “Was I a friend?” “Was I a traitor?” “Was I a lover?” “Or was I a monster?”

sometimes whenever I hear this type of music's it creates a story in my mind of many warriors that have fought in battles losing their live defending their home till their last breath.

The battle is over, we have triumphed, but when everything clears revealing the devastating image of chaos and total destruction... the emotion in my heart and the beating stop abruptly. Dejected inside me, very late I began to understand that the battle was not for freedom, it was not for honor, much less for noble causes.... My temperament and the blood of a Warrior that runs through my veins, blinded my reasoning, in the face of false speeches that encouraged heroism and the taking up of arms.... Now I know that everything was for greed, for power....Any Hymn of Glory, tastes like defeat to me
