We hit the streets of NYC to give strangers authentic Taho from the Philippines to try for the first time! For many of these Americans it was their first time trying this great Filipino food, and they really loved it! Even though at the beginning it was pretty shocking to them!

Our favorite Pinoy cafe in NYC Angela’s made this taho for us according to their homemade recipe, it’s super good! Thanks to them and be sure to check them out if you live in NYC!

Taho Vendor: TAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Filipinos: eyes shoot wide open, scrambles out of bed, looks everywhere for coins, literally fights everyone in the house for coins, and RUNS to catch the guy before he disappears for the day

When we visited the Philippines, My wife saw the vendor with his neck bar and 2 buckets and immediately knew what he was selling. She wouldn’t let us go to our next stop without getting it. I’m not a huge fan but my wife went ballistic for it

In the Philippines , Kids usually drink the syrup from the Taho and give the remaining to their mother / parents, But you will get addicted to its taste the longer to consume it.

Whenever a Taho vendor passes by and say TAHO my mum is like do you want some Taho and I go like ofc I do! And she gives me the money to buy it and I get my own cup and start running like I've never run before and I said "PA BILI PO NANG TAHO!" And my neighbors just stare at me lol but overall it was worth running bc the Taho taste amazing and so sweet.
