HELLUVA job man !!! I've done lots of them outside, But never even attempted it by myself. You got all the respect in the world from me. 🤘🤙
  • My uncle told me 40 years ago " why pay someone else for a job you can do yourself? " and that has been my motto ever since. Saved me a bunch of scratch and even learned something. Really great job Chad! Upwards and inwards.
  • Big numbers to you from the UK 🇬🇧 Chad for taking that on 🙏Serious enough over a workshop pit! Did a clutch on a wagon on the side of the road in France 🇫🇷 on my way back to UK from Switzerland 🇨🇭back in the 80s, and that was with our qualified mechanic who my Boss flew out from England to do the job as quicker and cheaper than getting French to do it, with me handing him spanners and holding things in place, and making the drinks, I learnt a lot that day 👍
  • Well done Chad anyone who’s ever changed one of those four piece clutches knows that’s a man sized job
  • I've done a pickup transmission/transfer case alone using a similar method, that was a ballbuster, much less the weight of this. Big respect Chad

Way to persevere Chad! That looks like back breaking work. You showed great patience, that’s hard to do.
  • That’s a tough ass driveway job for two or three guys , way too go , hell of a job!
  • Good job brother! I just had mine replaced on the road in Florida. Found a small shop in Brooksville FL. That charged me $950 labor plus parts.
  • Awesome job, Chad. That effing thing fought you all the way. But you conquer it that’s all that matters.👍👍👍

Also you should install the clutch with the adjustment facing the ground that way when u kill the engine the adjustment usually faces down. Just helpful things. You done awesome
  • I bet that was a good feeling of accomplishment. No easy task. Thanks for bringing us along.

Chad you should take your cabovers to the Mackinaw St Ignace truck show in the fall. Huge show, and parade across the Mackinac Bridge

Great job, and it's a great feeling of accomplishment when you get in and drive it down the road! Changed a few myself, but always had helpers, by myself like you did, now that's an accomplishment! It's not a fun job, but hats off to you man, great job!
