In the haunting melody, echoing through the void of certain fruit, where the victim fades into eerie silence. The lament a legacy lost, molded and decaying, as Apple's absence remains unacknowledged.. . Surely a grace as amazing to see in this rotting smoothie...

fun fact: in the files of the mod, you can find the asset for the week (which is what im gonna guess is what they used to test the song), and in that week file you can find that the weeks description is "Aethos but better".

I love how Apple becomes audibly uncomfortable after Annoying Orange transforms; it adds a lot of personality to it and really sets in the tone of the situation.

Y'know, for just being another Amazing Grace mod, the message still sticks with it. Annoying Orange has gone downhill, not being funny and just straight annoying. No one cares about it anymore, it's rotten away. All other have disappeared, no longer here, only being Orange and Apple. As he said himself, "Our legacy. IT'S OVER "

Whilst this iteration of "mocking Jeffy's Aethos for SlingMingo's involvement" mod, created a banger and somewhat started the trend, I love how this song doesn't try to replicate Aethos or Shucks exactly and instead tries its own thing, while still maintaining this structural trend of "epic lyric song". Instead of pure speed and "holy ascension", it saves that part for later, as it begins to "rot away" from the beginning, until Annoying Orange reveals the "amazing grace" of death to Apple. "Molded.... Rotting.... Slowly Decaying...." "Oh buddy.... Our Legacy.... IT'S OVER....." "IT'S OVER" He's not upset, angry, or completely insane like Jeffy or DBTG, he's offering a hand and a choice for his friend to leave behind the nostalgia and memories of the past and accept the inevitable composting process. It's honestly really sweet, in a strange way. (Also, the way the song is structured and the lyrics are said, makes it feel like an early 2000s-2010's era song. ESEPCIALLY the "It's Over..." line being repeated twice, which reminded me of a boyband style of music, but here, it's legitimate plea to let go of life and move on to the next one.)

i love how you can tell this song and mod was made in spite of the jeffy aethos mod instead of taking a souless trending ip and profiting off of silly billy's success with lyrics, they use a piece of obscure media they actually enjoyed and gave it meaning its a beautiful and proper farewell to the annoying oranges legacy despite the spite, you can feel the passion in this too annoying orange is a timeless piece of media, sure, but it will never reach the same level of popularity it had in its early days similar to fruit in a way, as time goes on, it starts to get less ripe as time goes on, it will all rot one day, nothing lasts forever why even bother? its over tl;dr: rotten smooth is peak

I never really saw much about Annoying Orange, but MAN I could tell just by the effort put into this mod that a lot of people cared about it. Good job dude!

I legit don’t know if this my new favorite song of 2024 now. It’s freaking phenomenal and I think has the best cutscene and lyrics in any FNF song. It’s just so nostalgic and depressing. The lines “Buddy, our legacy… it’s over” is true, but still depressing.
