Where Does Space Really Start?

We live in Earth's atmosphere, but how much do we actually know about it? Where does space start? What are the differences of the atmospheric layers? This video answers these questions, and breaks down the different layers of Earth's atmosphere, including the troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere and exosphere, and what makes each one significant.

I hope you enjoyed this video, it took me a very long time putting it together, from researching it to battling to make a 4K video with my old computer! But I'm pleased with how it turned out. If you enjoyed, please, like, share and subscribe, as it helps me to make more videos like these in the future.

Hi subscribers, this is a reupload for a couple of reasons. Firstly, it was originally meant to be 4K but Youtube didn't render it at 4K quality, so I'm hoping with an increased bitrate it will work this time. Secondly, there were a couple of (minor) mistakes with the original which have now been rectified. I want this channel to be as high quality as possible so if there are some things I have done wrong I will always try to mend them and not to make similar mistakes in future! The original is still on the channel but is just unlisted for the time being. I will eventually take it down altogether. Thanks for the understanding!

I just found your videos and I subscribed. Needless to say, I've found a new channel to add to my regular favorites. :) So very nicely researched and presented.
  • It's mind-blowing to think that the actual temperature could be 2000 degrees celsius but because of the lack of gas particles, it will feel like below 0 degrees celsius, it's fascinating...
