(HD) How to get HD OPTIONS for XP or movie makers that do not have them.

    or run "msconfig", go to the Tools tab, scroll down and select "Disable UAC", then click the "Launch" button. After a reboot you should be able to save files to the C:\ folder.

    when you click on them click save on the left on the pop up window click on my computer then on my computer click c: drive then double click program files then scroll down until you see movie maker save it to that.

    It's something to do with the vista apparently, most new viistas come with the movie maker ready with HD options.

    I saved it at shared and the drop down menu with the options dident have them i only downloaded the widescreen files not the 4.3 standard.

    @malteeaser101 When I say Drive I am refering to your hard disk drive, go into my computer and under hard disk drives you should see something like (C:)?

    right click shared or program files select run as administrator if it's not there right click select properties and select the secureity tab press edit and tick full control if it doesn't work get back to me.

    Are you sure you saved it to Computer>C: Drive>Program files> Movie Maker>Shared?

    i only use movie maker because it came free and i'm not that crazy about vids nearly anything is better than movie maker.
