Mark is one of the only people in the 1% that actually still has humanity and empathy. He is a good man and I hope Delonte keeps going further with his recovery!
  • Mark can’t do it alone. The NBA needs a program for their former players financial and mental well being. Let’s build a better world.

So proud of Delonte. Shoutout to Mark Cuban for being a genuinely good owner and man.
  • You can see in Delonte's eyes that he is a good person. Sometimes in life the most caring people face the most difficult problems. Glad he is doing better and wishing him the best!

This brings me to tears I've been in his shoes.. not in the NBA part but the depression and loss
  • Both Delonte and Mark are inspiring. Delonte for being open with the struggles he's going through and the humility to get a regular job post-nba career like that, and Mark for taking the time to find and help a brother out like that. You have to understand that basic law, more money more problems, and the fact that such a wealthy guy who could be "too busy" or "too important", made the call to get involved and help Delonte, this is amazing!
  • Back in 2004, St. Joes and Delonte West gave us college kids an exciting and unforgettable perfect season and Elite 8 spot in the NCAA Tourney. It’s great to see him get back on his feet and what a genuine guy Mark Cuban is 😊
  • Got bless him n Mark. Mental health is hard but having support makes things a little easier 💛🙌🏾 🙏🏾 ✨️

I suffer from Bipolar Type 1! I went to LA to chase my dreams and failed twice because I lost everything 5 times and I’m only 28! I did everything right first one to graduate college in my family I was very successful early 20’s! Now I’m a bum on my moms couch, trying to get it back! I slipped into a Psychosis twice and was hospitalized the second one! It takes our brain MONTHS to heal so you’re depressed for MONTHS! So I resorted to trying different drugs and was a going through a Liter of Alcohol a Day. I would’ve been just like him I was homeless in LA in my car! We lose everything because of our depression and addictions as a coping mechanism! I pray he can properly heal! West man if you’re reading this! YOU CAN BEAT YOUR MIND
  • Me and my brother met Delonte on the streets of D.C. a few years ago, it was sad to see him at that point he seemed to be mid manic episode when we met him, im glad hes getting help he seemed like a really great dude who got lost in his head. As someone who struggles with various mental health disorders im glad to finally see the news showing some positivity
  • He’s definitely doing better. I wish he would’ve made a team in the big 3 and really got his life back together. Either way this is good he’s going in a great direction.
  • I just saw Delonte last night at the 7/11 by Forest Lane station in Dallas texas. Y'all pray for him. He ain't doing so well, again. I bought him some food and a drink. Tragic af
  • From playing on the hardwood to installing the hardwood. Heck of a journey. I’m proud of you. Stay strong
