The most worth It tea is at your own home with your favourite biscuits

It amazes me how many people are complaining about the UK version. We should be grateful that there are 2 versions of this series. You aren't forced to watch the UK version so if you're unhappy quit bitching and don't watch this version at all

"I'm not related to the queen, I don't care!" I love this woman.
  • @Natenie
I actually quite enjoy the UK version. It's much more subtle, less "drastically" and less "WOW factor" , which brings up the tasting experience closer to the viewer. I love the Stevadamrew original tho. Don't hate me.

If I'm going to pay for afternoon tea it better be with the Queen😅

The two high-end places looked amazing for their afternoon tea, but Lucy's won me over for the heart and unpretentiousness.

I need Worth It UK to come back...

does anyone else find the girl’s voice oddly calming

In my life, I've noticed that it's only the people who pronounce it 'SCON' that make a big deal out of it and insist on proving everyone else wrong. What's up with that?

The humour in the British version is much better than the original

They're out there playing 100 bucks for a cup of tea and I'm over here begging for a water cup

Afternoon tea is a traditional British meal. On that basis, I'm going to have to say I'm more attracted to Lucy's Tearoom. It's traditional, its got heart and soul and is in no way pretentious. The others, whilst looking good, were distortions. They felt cold and void of any soul and rather pretentious. I don't doubt that they tasted nice, but I'm inclined to go traditional all the way.

Joe gets roasted so much, he deserves the holiday.

The Queen pronounces it as scon, so it's scon. Because once it's scon it's gone.
  • @quashmongrel
reading these comments I dont know why it's so hard for people to understand tea and afternoon tea are not the same video.... it's like you guys are purposely being dense for the sake of argument
  • @oihfsrhjik
I'd quit my job to be paid to eat food and travel like them
  • For your scones (pronounced "skons"): Jam then cream = Cornish way (aka the right way) Cream then jam = Devon way (aka the wrong way) Also Lucy's looked like the best
