Invest 98L continues to organize as it heads towards the northeastern Caribbean. It is projected to become Tropical Depression #5 within the next 48 hours.

Weather models project that it will strengthen into Tropical Storm Ernesto and Hurricane Ernesto. The most likely trajectory will be over the northeastern Caribbean. Interests in the islands north of the Lesser Antilles, the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico should prepare for the effects of a tropical storm.
