Fun fact about axolotls: when the aztecs settled the valley of Mexico around what is now a city in the 13th century, they found a large salamander living in the lake surrounding the island where they built their capital, Tenochtitlan. They called the salamander “axolotl” after xolotl, their god of fire and lightning.

Genuinely surprised that shulker boxes weren't added in the 1.9 update. Just like, they fit in so now, I would've sworn they came in with the 1.9 End update.

fun fact: The old stonecutter was actually never removed from Pocket Edition or Bedrock Edition and can still be found in the creative menu to this day with its GUI and recipe removed.

And funnily enough the bugged axolotl model actually looks more like the actual animal that the minecraft axolotl actually looks to be inspired from, the olm Edit, it looks like nobody understood this comment, i meant that minecraft axolotls are more similar to olms than axolotls

back in 1.18.1, i used to see drowned chasing after me in the water. whenever they bumped into a block, they would start sping around over and over again still in the swimming animation. i would get so bored i left them alone. it was fixed in 1.18.2 (i think, because it hasnt been happening lately) but drowned are still ridiculously slow. p.s, now that we're on the topic of drowned, i wanna take this moment to brag that i got a trident from a drowned with a stone sword, no looting enchant, no bow, and no cap. it was in terrible durability, but still a cool thing to brag about.
