This movie came out 2 months ago and it's already classic.
-
The cigarettes in this movie deserve Best Supporting Actor
-
The fact the people living in the apartments got to see him doing this for 7 hours straight is so cool and hilarious.
-
I love the symbolism when we see Arthur climbing the stairs earlier in the film. It's a mental struggle because of how miserable he is, how much effort it takes to keep his head straight in a world that does not give a shit about him. But the dance downwards is him just giving in the madness in himself. He does it with such a relief and enjoys himself. Just accepting that this is who he is. A man no longer struggle upwards, but dancing downwards.

Media: this move can cause violence Everyone: tries to recreate this dance
-
The fact that he was dancing without music just makes it even creepier
-
always loved that little smirk just before the elevator door closes
-
No green screen, no CGI. This is pure theater. I can't think of another actor who could have pulled it off.
-
The cigarette here deserves the Oscar for the best supporting role
-
The best part about the dancing is that the song playing is in his head
-
I love Heath Ledger, but Joaquin took this character to a whole different route and I love it
-
Who is here because the iconic stairs scene is back in Joker folie à deux?
-
Media: This movie will cause violence. Reality: Everyone being nice to the quiet kid.
-
The Joker dance is how I feel about Phoenix getting that Oscar.
-
he's such a impactful antagonist. i mean, how can you dance like that on a flight of stairs and not worry about losing balance and falling? truly terrifying...
-
I still, to this day, genuinely cannot believe people were shitting on this movie before it even came out. All because of the way Joker looked. Joaquin Phoenix absolutely killed it! This is one of my favorite movies of all time!

“Hey Arthur we need to talk.” Joker is thrusting In the air
-
When you take tag too seriously
-
This is by far the best representation of joker, he’s someone that almost every person can empathize with. We’ve all been dragged down through the dirt and wanted to lash out against the world and everyone who hurt us. We all have a joker inside of us, it doesn’t take much for a person to end up like this.

From 4:00 has got to be one of my favourite scenes in movie history, the way Arthur throws away the mask and walks intently through the oncoming police as if to imply that he doesn’t need to run or hide behind the face paint anymore, he is now who he is meant to be - The Joker
